FRIDAY GUEST FEATURE: James Haag
NAME: James Haag
Home town: Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Occupation: Real Estate
Beloved piece: My three piece suit I bought on one of my trips to Vietnam. It was my first suit made custom for me, cost $100.00 and fit like a glove. I remember stuffing my shorts and shirt into a plastic bag and wearing the suit back to my hotel in 100+ degree weather. I was sweating up a storm, but I remember the look on people's faces while I walked back to my hotel. They looked at me like I was important. I felt important. I haven’t bought an off-the-rack suit since.
Admired Designer: Whoever invented boxer briefs.
Favorite aspect of fashion: I used to be shy and unconfident but once I stopped letting my mom buy my clothes and started finding my style, I came into my own. Having a shirt that fits properly and colors that compliment my complexion rather than making me look homeless really gave me a boost to become the man I am today. That and hundreds of hours of therapy.
One more thing: I believe “The Postman” with Kevin Kostner is one of the greatest movies of all time.
