Rodolfo Paglialunga stepped down as Creative Director of Jil Sander, a minimalist German luxury brand. A new successor has not been named but it is rumored it may be Luke and Lucie Meier (source: Vogue.com)
The epitome of see-now-buy-now fashion, Thakoon, will be closing its doors to restructure their brand. Investor Silas Chou stated that the current business model did not meet the retail market and was therefore not sustainable for the brand. This comes just one month after showing their Spring 2017 collection which featured just 10 looks.
Helmut Lang named Isabella Burley it's first Editor in Residence. She has already begun a collaboration with Hood by Air founder Shayne Oliver as well as made plans to relaunch Helmut Lang's website. She is currently the Editor of Dazed London and will continue in this post.
Claire Waight Keller was named the first female Creative Director for Givenchy, replacing Riccardo Tisci on May 2nd.
