FRIDAY FEATURE: Men's Rain Wear
The men in our lives need a little rain wear love too. There are three things needed for mens rainwear: a jacket, wool socks, and boots. These three accessories are sure to keep you warm and dry throughout the seasons.
The first among these, the rain coat, is the most essential. It is the overcoat to keep all of their clothing dry. When looking for a rain coat, make sure to find one that is not only water resistant, but has some wind resistance as well. Similar to women's rainwear, gabardine is a good choice that is warm, durable, as well as being wind and water resistant.
Look for jackets are are either unlined or have a lighter lining so they can be used year round. If you are cold, wear a sweater under the jacket. It is also easier to make room for suits and a multitde of other outfits if there is not a large heavy lining taking up space. One you have the perfect trench, you are going to need some wool socks to keep your feet warm. There is nothing worse than literal cold feet. It is uncomfortable and no matter what, you have to walk on them. Wool socks will keep you warm and dry within your rain boots. An added bonus is that they are much warmer when you are wearing rubber rain boots specifically and you can use them in the winter or just around the house.
Once you have the wool socks, you need a good pair of boots that are water resistant to complete your rainwear look.
