FRIDAY FEATURES: How to Wear Orange

FRIDAY FEATURES: How to Wear Orange

Though it's my favorite color, even I have to admit I don't always look to wearing it. Orange can be an intimidating color to opt for, but when done right, it can make you look as bright, fun, and confident as the color itself.

When worn casually, orange works like a charm to add a bright punch of color whether its with accessories, small accents or details, or statement piece that only needs basic accessories to polish the look. But orange can work in a professional way as well and can help brighten up your work wardrobe if you've been relying on the basic staples (I'm talking black, blue, white, and creams here). Now, there's  not a thing wrong with those colors, they're polished classics and work well together, but adding a little accent of orange can make for a versatile and fun wardrobe.

Here are a few tips when going with orange:

Pick the color that's right for you.

Orange, like any color, comes in a huge variety of colors. There's the bright, colorful orange that most of us think of immediately, but light oranges can almost near a peach-like color and work for a more subdued, softer look. With fall coming up, burnt oranges and red-oranges are always a favorite go-to because they pair so well with the autumnal colors we see outside. There are definitely different degrees of orange you can go with, so play around with colors until you find one you're comfortable and confident with.

Accents are awesome.

You don't need to go all-out orange with Eres jumpsuit (although we encourage it) to pull off this fantastic color. Try adding just a pop of color with your accessories. Orange can be a potent color, and you don't need a ton of it to make an impact. Add a belt, scarf, hat, or jewelry piece that has some orange hues and you can add a decent dose of character and life to what would be a pretty basic, plain, or even dreary outfit.

Neutrals are your friend (as usual).

Orange can be loud statement, so if it needs to be toned down, just pair it with a neutral that works well with it. Cream, white, brown, grey, and beige all work very well with orange and strike a balance with the color. If you're feeling more adventurous, blues, golds and yellows also work well with orange.

...or just go for that jumpsuit.

Just really go for it!
